The 4 x 5.6” Tiffen ND 2.1 Filter is a professional neutral density filter widely used in cinema and commercial production to reduce light entering the lens by 7 stops. This level of light reduction is ideal for maintaining shallow depth-of-field, controlling highlights, and achieving cinematic exposure in extremely bright shooting conditions—such as mid-day exteriors, desert shoots, snow environments, beach locations, and high-output lighting setups.
Constructed using Tiffen’s award-winning ColorCore™ technology, the ND 2.1 maintains exceptional optical clarity and color fidelity. It provides precise light reduction without introducing unwanted color shifts, vignetting, or softness—making it suitable for high-resolution cinema cameras shooting in 4K, 6K, 8K RAW, or ProRes formats.
